Huntsville Health Care Center meets the specialized needs of patients requiring ventilator care first working to continue the weaning process started in the hospital or long-term acute care hospital. Our staff recognize the unique challenges faced by these patients and their loved ones.
In the event patients can not wean from the ventilator Huntsville Health Care Center can meet their long-term ventilator support needs, supporting their transition to a permanent resident and assisting the family with applying for Medicaid and other challenges associated with the transition.
Our advanced ventilator technology is very flexible enabling our therapy and nursing team to support the patient through the weaning process including 24-hour ventilator needs, overnight ventilator support and C-Pap and Bi-Pap assisted breathing.
